Columbus company makes tech 500 list

Deloitte & Touche LLP has ranked Columbus-based BankTEL Systems among the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America

BankTEL came in at 483rd on Deloitte’s 2014 Technology Fast 500. The company grew 143.8 percent during this time period.

Boyce E. Adams Jr., BankTEL’s vice president of marketing and sales, credits innovative software and exceptional service and support with the company’s near 144 percent revenue growth.

Deloitte & Touche is an emerging growth company practice. Overall, 2014 Technology Fast 500 companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 135 percent to 123,678 percent from 2009 to 2013, with an average growth of 1,640 percent.
