You Are Invited To Attend The Public Introduction Of The Mississippi Policy Forum “The Mission of MPF is to conduct research and provide
new polices for the public debate. We must work together to find common
ground as Mississippians and to solve the problems facing our people.
The Mississippi Policy Forum will try to call upon the best and brightest
minds from all different walks of life without deference to political
ideology. The MPF will be non-profit, non-partisan, and its Trustees will
come from Democrat and Republican ranks, former elected and appointed
office holders, leaders in the fields of business, medicine, law, as well
as from other fields of academia. Mississippi’s rich diversity should
be our greatest strength, not our biggest weakness. Mississippians should
not be held hostage by any political party or special interest. This Forum
will serve as a think tank that identifies problems, seeks to find workable
solutions, and advocates new polices to help improve the quality of life
for all Mississippians.“ Date: Wednesday, April 16, 2003 Time: 6:00 p.m. Cocktails 6:30 p.m. Presentation 7:30 p.m. Entertainment Location: Hal and Mal’s Restaurant All major candidates for Governor have been invited to
