'It Is
Time For a Change'
Robert - Bay Springs, MS - It is time for a change and hopefully, that
change will come this November. Was has occurred in the State House today is
a travisty. To remove evern reasonable provisions to assure that the person
who voted is the person he/she says he/she is is demonstrating that those in
charge want to continue what many of us know to be occurring; that is to continue
to allow voter fraud. It is time for the State Legislature to stand up and say
that the state of Mississippi will not allow voter fraud to occur in ths state
or are they more interested in maintaing the current political layout? What
is Secretary of State worried about?
'Abortion
is Murder and Partial Birth Abortion is Even Worse'
Robert - Bay Springs, MS - Sen. Lott writes an interesting
and compelling article and the citizens of this country ought to be crying for
and demanding that this procedure be ended, but I have one concern for this
bill. If we are to hold, as I do, that abortion is murder and that partial birth
abortion is even worse, why are we exempting the mother if she is a willing
participant. It seems to me that if we are going to argue, as I believe we should,
that the Doctor is guilty of murder for performing abortion, then it is just
as reasonable to say that the mother is just as guilty and deserves the same
fate as the Doctor. It seems to me that these "people" should face
the same punishment that you are I would if we did this to some stranger on
the street, murder is murder, after all.
