Dale - Hattiesburg - "Party Hierarchy" Although Jim Herring and others in the party hierarchy should not attempt to coronate the Republican party's nominee for Governor, as there are two candidates in the party who have filed, there is no doubt that there is only one true Republican in the race, and he is Haley Barbour. True Republicans who stand and live for family values don't give $1,000.00 to liberal Chuck McRae (of DUI fame) four months before declaring their candidacy. True Republicans don't give money to Ronnie Musgrove (in 1999) or John Arthur Eaves (in 1996). True Republicans aren't poster childs of the American Trial Lawyers Association or make regular contributions to the National Democratic Senatorial committee. I am a Republcan and I want a REPUBLICAN as my nominee. |
